Monthly Census at the

San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary

For over 10 years, we have been conducting a monthly bird census of all the ponds in the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary as well as the San Diego Creek, land areas surrounding Audubon House and the Duck Club buildings, tree hill, the riparian area, and other areas within the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary. The census is conducted by a group of birders from Sea and Sage Audubon Society. The data we have collected is used for updating the SJWS bird list as well as for analyzing the status of migratory birds around the sanctuary.  All of our census data has been posted here on the webpage. Each census runs for the calendar year of January through December. Click on the year you are interested in.
