No prior art experience needed.\nAugust Topic: Conservation and Sustainability\nWe’ll share valuable information about the importance of conservation, recycling and sustainability. Learn ways to help protect our beautiful California environment.\nAugust Project: Learn to recycle cardboard tubes from paper towel and toilet paper rolls into useful and decorative items like flower ornaments and gift card holders.\nSupplies: We will have supplies available, but participants are encouraged to bring their own cardboard-paper-towel-rolls, and/or cardboard-toilet-paper-rolls.\nEach evening offers a relaxed, social atmosphere where you can unwind, connect with others, and explore the natural world in a creative way. The program begins with a short, engaging talk, from knowledgeable speakers and guest experts introducing a nature-inspired topic. From there, you’ll dive into a guided, hands-on craft that brings the theme to life.
