DESCRIPTION:Join Sea & Sage Audubon for a fun, innovative crafting & learning experience! Event: A monthly class designed for adults (18+) who love nature, creativity, and community. Each program consists of a short, engaging talk from knowledgeable speakers and guest experts.\n\nFrom there, you’ll dive into a guided, hands-on craft that brings the theme to life. No prior art experience needed.\n\nSeptember Topic: Native plants\n\nA Sea & Sage expert will introduce the beauty and importance of California native plants. Learn what and how to grow them and how they interact with butterflies and other wildlife.\n\nSeptember Project: Introduction to Flower Hammering Learn how to create beautiful art with hammered flowers on watercolor paper. Use real flowers and leaves to make botanical prints which can then be turned into cards or framed art.\n\nSupplies: We will have supplies available, but participants are encouraged to bring a hammer and flowers/leaves from their own garden if possible.
