What Gardeners Need to Know

An illustrated discussion about the plight of the Western Monarch butterfly and specifically how local gardeners can assist their recovery. The program will begin with an understanding of monarch biology, life cycle, food plants, and migration. We will provide an update about current population issues with the western population and finish with specifics about how gardeners can play a vital role in monarch recovery.

For those meeting in-person at the San Joaquin Marsh Learning Center, social time starts at 6:15 pm, speaker starts at 7 pm. Light refreshments will be available.

For those attending by Zoom, virtual meeting room opens at 6:30 PM. The  speaker starts at the 7:00.
