Third Annual Sea & Sage Audubon Earth Day
Join Sea & Sage Audubon for our 3rd Annual Earth Day Celebration—“Every Bird Counts—Your Observations Matter”.
Start your morning at 10:00 am with brunch at the Learning Center while exploring tables highlighting the power of community science in protecting migratory and resident birds. At 10:30 am, renowned raptor expert Dr. Pete Bloom will share stories of his decades of research and conservation work, including California Condor recovery and Golden Eagle studies.
From 11:45 am–12:45 pm, join our enthusiastic Junior Naturalists for a hands-on Merlin Bird ID workshop followed by a 45 minute guided nature walk where you’ll put your new skills into practice. Cap off the day from 1:00 pm–2:00 pm with an up‑close OC Birds of Prey demonstration—an unforgettable opportunity to see magnificent raptors and learn about their behavior and conservation.
