Trina Miller, a marine biologist with an extensive background in marine debris research, will share findings from her investigation into plastic pollution in the rocky intertidal zone of San Pedro, CA and its connection to Algalita’s mission. As a Southern California native with a deep passion for the ocean, she is excited to highlight how local fieldwork ties into broader efforts to address plastic pollution.
