“Birds of Huntington State Beach: Sharing the Shore,”

This lively and informative talk highlights the fascinating birdlife of Huntington State Beach, including the California least tern, Western snowy plover, and Black skimmer. Brittany will explore how these remarkable coastal species nest, forage, and thrive alongside millions of beach visitors each year, while emphasizing the importance of responsible recreation and conservation efforts that help protect these sensitive birds.
This Zoom meeting will open at 6:30pm, with a Sea and Sage project highlight at 6:45pm, followed by the presentation at 7:00pm. Come learn how we can all help “share the shore” and support the incredible birdlife in our local coastal habitats!
