Our speaker, Rachel Bockrath, a master’s student at Cal Poly Pomona, has been surveying the avian communities across six major habitats in the Santa Clara River Valley (SCRV) to compare the community compositions between habitats, and over seasons. Rachel is eager to share her research results, which a Sea and Sage Bloom-Hays Research grant, helped fund.
